15 Annoying Moments From The Job Searching Process

It isn't easy these days to find a job. It is almost impossible to find a job that fits all of your needs as well, sometimes it's the pay that's off, sometimes it's the environment, sometimes it's the people. Regardless, it is just hard to find a job. That being said it seems like everyone is short-staffed these days. So it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense as to why it is so hard to fill those positions. All in all it is just a frustrating experience for everyone. There are a lot of people out there sharing their most annoying moments of applying to jobs.

Reddit's /r/recruitingh*** is full of moments from people who are just sick and tired of trying to find a job. They post memes that everyone in the same boat as them can relate to. Sigh

Working as an HR recruiter, it is really demoralizing. The company I work for now pays me to interview people to "get the company name out there" even though we don't have positions available. I'm staying to make sure I qualify for maternity leave which I plan to take in 3 months. I hate talking to great people with ambition and the exact skill sets we're "looking for" and then having to reject them, pretending we picked a different candidate when in reality nobody was hired.

Well, That's Unfortunate

Thank you for being patient throughout this process. I just got news that there have been some internal changes with the remote technical support position. We are now requiring this position to be in person at our HQ in Milpitas. We are no longer hiring remote technical support positions with corsair. This is very unfortunate news, and I deeply would like to apologize for the inconvenience that this brings you.

Also, please excuse that I did not get back to you sooner. : We are a small team and we had to switch to a rolling basis recruitment process for this position. I read through your material and I believe that you would potentially be a great fit to the team. I'd also love to go to the next step with you which would be the cultural fit interview. However, we already found a well fitting candidate for the position and as we are restricted on ressources, I can not proceed with your application at this time.
