About your suggestions for the front page, I highly doubt that that will be implemented. The front page queue is generally reserved for entries currently being researched, trending media, and once in a while some site-related stuff. There isn't really room for old entries.

Hm… If I could say that there's one thing that I think can be considered memetic that's been rejected, I would go with "HIDEBU!!!" Thing is, it's mostly a Japan-centric Meme, so many entries would be marked in Kanji (which, if I'm using the right characters, would roughly translate to "ひでぶ!!!") or other Japanese forms of text. It's a small meme, but like "I Drink Your Milkshake!" has had enough presence on the internet to count.

By the way, is there a version of this thread for pages that should be deadpooled? I've seen a couple of articles that have been researched and evalutated that sit on the shelves for months. "Street Fighter Select Character: Obama" is one that needs to be deadpooled, as it has only a single-paragraph description, one video, and a pair of images.

This thread is about entries that have been confirmed before our standards changed, and need to be improved.
Not about entries that are memetic, but have been deadpooled.

Any other Japanese memes needing a reconfirmation?

I'm still going through all the entries, but this kind of task requires a lot of motivation, which I've lacked as of late due to reasons. I'll continue them soon, I know there are still Japanese memes that need to be added to the list.

It's Machine Code can be scratched off of Random's list unless you guys think it needs more work. (The state it was in is going to give me nightmares. lol.)

I'm on to Video Games next, but I might see about some of these others after that.

Since my work on Video Games has been halted, I'd be willing to work on Lurk Moar if I could get editorship. For some reason it has two Google Trends graphs in it. lol.

I'll be sure to finish this list off eventually. I was going to finish it off today, but, err… let's just say stuff happened and I'm no longer in the mood for it. It's too bad I don't have forum powers to get rid of the completed entries, but oh well.

Alright, Lurk Moar is as fixed as I can make it. It looks like The Cake is a Lie is alright, but I could do some clean up I guess. I'm also willing to clean up Threadjacking and PPP if I can get editorship to those.

Potter Puppet Pals is done and ready for a glance over if someone wants to take a peak at it. I'm on to threadjacking for now. I'm considering adding on "Thread Derailment" to the title, but what do you guys think?

Two hours later and threadjacking is done. That makes like at least 4 down in the past two days. I almost feel like we need a "This thread is now X." / "This is now an X thread." article, but I'll get opinions on that in another thread. Also, I'll work on Kill Yourself later this week probably.

The fact that the entry has been a submission for 3 years makes me really sad, especially since Newgrounds was such an important site in internet history.

You're Not My Dad- It's pretty light for an entry but I don't see it being bad enough to return to submission status

Iridocyclitis- changing back to submission for the simple fact that most of the images in the entry are broken. Those being fixed or replaced would make it be mostly okay.

Somethingawful- not a lot in the entry but not quite bad enough to say it needs to return to submission.

Wario- is there a reason that you're suggesting this to return to submission? I'm not seeing anything obvious.

Force Push/Obi-Wan Hates I'm putting back into Submission status. It being a meme is unquestionable. However, the entry only has four actual sentences. Most of the entry is five videos (three of which are broken) and doesn't even have a source section.

The You're not my Dad entry has broken links like Iridocyclitis does.

The Wario entry is written like it belongs under the People category.

The Something Awful entry's About section isn't above History, lacks visuals, and has no Features, Highlights or Traffic section.

Read the first two sentences in Something Awful's about "A good five minutes on SA, shorthand for somethingawful, will tell everything you need to know. Its main center of lulzy by-products come from its forums." That's all I need to know to say it should not be confirmed.

I asked TripleZ about Wario and he's on the fence about it needed entry but it's writing style isn't enough to unconfirm it he says.

The IRL Troll Posters entry is pretty garbage.

The Something Awful entry is still confirmed
