Yeah not a good look for SAG after everything they protested against the previous year regarding the use of AI for things like writing or the likenesses of live action actors.

If a person's creative work can be proprietary IP what about their appearance and voice?

What about those who can't fight back against the use of their likeness? It feels sacrilegious that dead actors can be revived for roles, but lawmaking to prevent that is going to be crazy.

US unions are so corrupt it;'s disgusting

On one hand, the dead actors are, well, dead. More regulations regarding this could do a disservice instead.

On the other hand, I think no company, individual or organization should have a monopoly over someone use of voice.

The 2010s were seemingly the golden age of society we are now going to the dark times for a while it appears like.
