I personally believe you're on the wrong site if you expect quality control. Literally nothing has been done about that filthy creature ever since it was brought upon us. At this point all you can really do is get the image filtering script if you haven't already, and even that has its' limitations.

don't even need that, KYM itself has a toggle to hide the reddit bot under profile settings

As far as I know that mainly applies to the All Images section, which I haven't gone out of my way to visit in a long ass time. I spend a majority of my time here digging through the Image Search, and that DOESN'T seem to have any workarounds (at least not to my knowledge).
