Adin Ross and Andrew Tate and a tweet about the alleged gaffe that led to his arrest.

According to rumors swirling online recently, controversial streamer Adin Ross allegedly got Andrew Tate arrested again this week after he shared on a stream that Tate was trying to leave Romania.

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan are not allowed to leave Romania because they are awaiting trial on charges of alleged sex trafficking and other crimes.

Presumably, Ross did not think lawyers or the Romanian police were listening on March 5th when he pulled out his phone during a livestream on Kick and said:

… Andrew had hit me up. He said, "Hey, I’m gonna be leaving Romania soon and probably never coming back. If you want to come over and do a week of long streams and content before I leave, I think it’ll be big. And it’s never" -- I’m sorry, he said, "It’s basically now or never."

Ross and Tate go way back, sharing streams together several times since 2022. Ross famously brought Tate on as a guest to his stream after Tate had been banned from almost all social media platforms in the summer of 2022.

A few months later, a man claiming to be Ross's brother stated on X that Adin's career and character had changed after falling under the influence of Tate.

A spokesperson of the Tate brothers acknowledged that the arrest was the result of what Ross said on stream, writing, "We believe this rumour has originated from a popular online influencer who misconstrued a text message from our clients while streaming live."

Online, many who don't like Tate and Ross found the news highly entertaining and memeable as it spread on social media.

Tate will face trial in Romania and then be extradited to Britain, where he faces another set of human trafficking charges.
